MIKE
What a blindside! Seemed like you had an idea it may have been you after the votes were counted. Sad to see you go, but excited to welcome you to ponderosa!
Feel free to chat with our other jurors/spectators in the ongoing commentary thread. We hope you'll keep being active until we pick the winner of Stranded in Morocco!

Nah man, I got wrecked hahaha. Had all these plans to get to 8 with an alliance of 4 and just got murked. How much can we see in the game as a juror?

Canβt see confessionals, chat messages, or any of the lurker/host shit obviously. Everything else you can see.

Who out there is doing anything!? Does everyone just wait for idiots like me to stand out a little too much, then vote them off? This vote is even more unanimous than the last one really! 9 of them vs me and Alec being left out. When the fuck is the game gonna start? Hahaha fuck me.

The game has definitely started, and it's probably a good sign for the best players that you can't pick them out of a lineup yet.
Really think about who benefits the most from each vote since the merge and you can narrow down the list to a few players who are setting themselves up well for the end

I know, I know, I was just frustrated haha. My guys says Seb, Chelsea and Robb. Pat and Davie were off on their vote last round, Alec got blindsided by the last vote, and I don't think Don or Angela are playing that hard... The next vote will reveal a lot, unless they stay unanimous and try to vote Alec. Seb did such a good job acting like he wasn't playing that hard, but I guess he has big plans. I should've caught on when he wasn't playing the idol and no one was voting for him...

Not sure if I'm supposed to post something like this here, but whatever. It's the day after getting voted out and I feel pretty weird. Losing doesn't really bother me that much, but I was never as much of a super fan as most of the other players out here. I started watching survivor pretty recently because my brother wanted a sibling to be addicted as well. What's really killing me is this weird empty feeling I get now that I can't talk to the other players, and now that I know a lot of them were lying to me. I made this game a decent part of my life for the last week or two, and I really felt like I was friends with the people I was playing with. I would get excited to talk to people during the day to break the monotony of my job, and would always be on early and late for challenges just to hang out with people. I know this is a dumb way to feel, because people are here to win the game, but knowing that so much of that was/could have been fake kind of sucks. It's also super hypocritical, because I acted the same when I was in on votes (Sorry Kellyn). Looking back with the lens that everything said to me could've been manipulation or jury management makes the whole experience feel kind of awful. I think If I went home without being blindsided I'd be fine, but knowing that 2 of the players I shared a lot of time and stories with were willing to send me home in a pretty brutal split vote taints the memories of just hanging out and having fun together.
So that's my current update of the day. Ponderosa is slow, and it reminds me of how it felt to quit most social media. I'm so used to having people on to talk to whenever and being happy playing this game, so it was like mini social withdrawal. I know it goes away with time, but I was curious if other players or hosts have felt this way.
That was lame and sad, so here's a cute lion cub

I think others can agree as well. I definitely felt the same. This was my intro to orgs. When I played, I was very active and the game consumed my life. And you build strong bonds with your allies and get to know them pretty well on a personal level. When I was voted out, I was relieved but sad. Relieved because it was consuming too much of my life and becoming too intense how obsessed I was becoming with it, but sad because I couldn't play anymore or interact with my allies who were still in the game. What helped me was that our jury was very very active and we talked a lot in there about the game, how we played, learned info about what we didn't know from each other, critiquing those still left in the game, and having in depth discussions on who deserved to win. Plus being in the jury is less stressful, so you can just have fun and make fun of everyone's mistakes . it's a great way to adjust back to normal life slowly
Also, if y'all stick around after the game ends (which you should!), y'all can join our discord where we all stay in contact. And that's super fun. We even play some smaller scale games.
So what you're feeling is totally normal! And yeah, learning that maybe not all your interactions were genuine can hurt, but we all did it at one point cus we were playing the game to win. Once you're out of the game you don't have to worry about that and can just be yourself. But I will admit from personal experience that that weird sense of betrayal may not go away quickly in some cases (depending on how close or how much you trusted someone), but that's natural. With time and talking it out with the players, these feelings will mostly dissipate. It gets easier as you play to not let it affect you as much.
But enjoy yourself here! Be active! We all love to check into here cus we get to interact with y'all more freely.

Sorry Mike.
We try not to let Jordan out of her cell but I can translate that for you.
Ahem
Mike stop being a little bitch and crying over your new internet friends. Just wait for them to get here and shove their heads so far up their rectums that they wear their colon as a hat.

I was told that one of the newbies would take my place in the basement. Then I can roam freely. I can't be tamed, Gary

Damn... Poor Clay. I wish he could see this thread and know that he's not the only one who at least felt something during the game.
