Hey boys. Let's start on a high note - congrats for making it to the finals. I had some stuff written up for two of you but honestly the opening statements had a huge impact on everything , so I'm starting fresh. Davie, Donathan, thank you for being candidly open about your own weaknesses in your statements, to acknowledge that you both played lowkey, subdued games and that people are likely not gonna be thrilled about it is respectable.
Survivor: Samoa is a memorable season for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, but one sticks out - Natalie White beat Russel Hantz and Mick Trimming 7-2-0. While a lot of viewers, likely a lot of us included, thought that Russel was outright robbed as the votes were being read at FTC, these days the reasoning if a lot more obvious. Russel was a strategic mastermind in many regards, but what he failed to understand is that you can only lie to and disrespect so many people in this game. In the end, you need people to respect not only your game, but your character. Natalie understood this just fine, and followed Russel to the end while maintaining respectful enough relationships with the jury to demolish Russel.
Seabitch. Your opening statement says one thing about you - you're consistent. You've maintained an atrocious superiority complex the entire game, and your statement only serves as a testament to this. You're about half accurate, I'd say, but as Angela already pointed out (not gonna waste too much time touching on what she did), you're acting like a ringleader when you would quickly go with the majority at the earliest sign of difficulty. Now the other two sitting beside you have done a ton of that themselves, but the fact is they were upfront about it, and they didn't mock anybody in the process. They certainly didn't try and twist siding with the majority into them calling the shots like you did in your statement.
I have one question for you, Seabiscuit, and it's this: What makes you think you aren't about to be the Russel Hantz of Stranded: Morocco, only with less impressive strategic moves?
Don. Honestly, you pissed me off when you took me out but only for your vote comment - your game has been atrocious and you really didn't do yourself much of a favour there. They call you Chelsea's pet goat, but I prefer sheep personally. While some think you got yourself to the end, I'm not much of a believer. If Robb didn't no show you wouldn't have won immunity, but you'd still be here. If Gabby didn't go at F4, you'd still be here. There were really a ton of ways the cards could've fallen, but you'd still be here. You were, as it stands, basically in everyone's final 3, and I don't think I need to explain why.
I don't think you made the moves you thought you did. Let's be clear - you didn't make me feel safe because I trusted you, I felt safe because I truly didn't think you were stupid enough to continue being a sheep that far into the game. Everything in your final 5 paragraph makes me laugh , and let it be known that you didn't succeed at making your gameplay clearer in your statement other than the fact that you'd be here as somebodies goat no matter how this game went down.
Simply put: it's been well-known that you were a goat since before the merge and you found it acceptable to avoid trying to shake that image until roughly f5. Why do you think a winning majority of us are even considering you at this point when most of us were out to prove ourselves since day one?
Davie. I gotta give you one thing and that is respect. This was something you understood in this game and it's obvious that of the three of you, you're the one I respect the most. That being said - I don't respect the lazy game. I understand not logging in every day, but after reading your statement I have my doubts that you gave your all in challenges, and for the most part you stuck to the majority like glue. I'm impressed that you cleared it all the way to f3 after I went, with you and Gabby being on the short end of the stick, but outlasting Robb, Gabby and Chelsea also isn't the most impressive thing considering if any of them were up there with you today, you'd be fucked. My question is this:
Is not playing the game truly a winning strategy? Do you think it was worth going to the end with a cocky shithead and the player that's been considered a leech the entire time instead of showing the jury why you're worth their vote and making a big move against the majority near he end?
I'm sure you're all lovely human beings, but show me why any of you deserve any one of the jury's rightful fucking spot at FTC, because right now Clay is a more appealing vote than any of you.
