Another one bites the dust, but not you!!

1-We're down to 15 castaways. How important are these next few votes leading into a potential merge?
2-Are you interested in becoming the nomad? or is it more important to solidify yourself in this tribe?
3-You have allies, but do you think you've made any enemies? Any players in the game that you think are gunning for you?
4-What are you planning to do this weekend to set yourself up for a successful challenge/tribal on Sunday?
5-Lets talk critically about your game right now. Would you consider yourself a power player who is worthy of votes at the end? Or are you worried that you're just coasting by and could be considered a FTC goat?

Hi Danni!

1. These next few votes are everything! It sets up who makes the merge and how the rest of the season is going to shake out. Since there's only been one swap, it's important to go into the merge with the largest number of allies possible. You want to be able to jump where the numbers are and have a safe place within that group. Natalie going home was great for me because I'd never spoken to her and she wasn't connected to anyone I'm working with. I'm hoping the next few votes go my way as well.

2. I have no desire to become the Nomad. I think Kellyn played it all wrong and grilled everyone for information. She now knows I was the Taureg that put her up and says we have "beef". I think she's just too aggressive of a player. Alec just did quick introductions from what I can tell, which was smarter. I still think it's dangerous to be able to talk to everyone because it makes you a big target for being too social.

3. Oh I definitely know Kellyn is my enemy. She knows I'm coming for her, and I know she's coming for me. I think she's the only one explicitly gunning for me though, and from the conversations I've had, it seems like people are on to her and how she's playing.

4. To be honest, I'm just going to keep talking to the whole tribe. I was invited to join a F4 alliance of Jed, Steph and Robb. I don't really have a choice at this point since I'm on this tribe for the next few votes. It doesn't make sense for me to be loyal to this because I'm coming in 4th, which isn't gonna get me to top 3. So it's good for right now, but not long term. I need to work on getting them to keep Chelsea and send home Davie or Pat. Chelsea is my number one ally, and the alliance is wanting to send her home. I'm going to try to subtly plant seeds this weekend that Pat and Davie are wildcards and we don't know where their loyalties lie, so we need to split them up.

5. I'm slowly becoming a power player. I think the fact that I'm not overly loyal to anyone makes me a good player going into a potential merge. I will build a resume as the game continues. Look at the people who played aggressively from the beginning: Chris, Natalie, Tanya... They are the ones who are going home. I'm going to be a social floater but I don't think that makes me a goat. I think it makes me a smart player. If people think they can trust me, they'll want to keep me as a number. I'm just trying to get to the merge and then I'll start building end game alliances with the people who are still there. If I need to stick with this F4 I'm in, I will. If I see a better path for myself, I'll jump to that. Being fluid is what's going to make me a strong player.

Let's say that come Sunday night, you guys are headed into tribal and this F4 alliance is still targeting Chelsea. Is she integral enough to your game that you'd vote against Robb/Jed/Steph? How are you planning to prioritize these relationships as the numbers start to get smaller?

If Chelsea could get Davie and Pat to join her and it was a 3v3 split and I was the swing vote, I'd vote out one of the Jed/Steph/Robb combo. But it doesn't make sense for me to stick my neck on the line to save Chelsea if the votes aren't there. Davie and Pat are EXTREMELY difficult to communicate with, since they only usually give one word answers. So it would be tough to place any faith in them for a vote this big. As the numbers get smaller, I'm going to keep trying to be an extra vote for larger groups. I have a Sandra mentality right now of "anyone but me" because I just want to make it to the merge. Once I get there, the priority shifts from self-preservation to long-term loyalty. If I go against the F4 and the plan doesn't work, I'm the next target. My strategy is going to evolve once I get to the next phase of the game.
