1-We're down to 15 castaways. How important are these next few votes leading into a potential merge?

A: These are VITAL. Now's the time to get rid of anyone that's specifically targeting you before they can get to the merge and spread their gospel, and now's also the time to solidify your alliances. Everything can be well and good but you don't know for sure until you put pen to paper, err, parchment.

2-Are you interested in becoming the nomad? or is it more important to solidify yourself in this tribe?

A: Sliiiiiightly. But not really. Right now I think there's more to lose than for me to gain. If I were to become Nomad, I'd have a target on my back for being one of the few that were able to cross tribal lines and make bonds. And I like control, so I would not be a fan of potentially having to sit out of a Tribal Council going back on at my tribe. Perfect scenario: A trusted ally becomes Nomad so I can reap the rewards and none of the backlash. But who fucking knows since that dipshit Alec hasn't been here since becoming Nomad.

3-You have allies, but do you think you've made any enemies? Any players in the game that you think are gunning for you?

A: Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea. Maybe Kellyn if she catches wind of what's going on over here. But yeah, Chelsea. Not much new on that front, but if someone is gunning for me it's her.

4-What are you planning to do this weekend to set yourself up for a successful challenge/tribal on Sunday?

A: Showing up? I don't know. Lol. I'm sure I'll log on here at least 40 times, maybe have some talks with me peeps, show up on Sunday, contribute as little as I can to the challenge and hope that we win.

A: I don't think that this can be answered until the merge happens. Nobody wins the game based on what move they made during the pre-merge. It's called the pre-merge for a reason, because it doesn't matter and it's solely defined by what really matters: the merge. All you can do for now is set yourself up as best as you can, so that's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to build trust with my allies, and take out anybody who's got me on their radar.

I think our next vote will be an important one. If we can successfully convince Angela to ditch Chelsea and join us fully, it'll show that we have what it takes to make a run out of this.

Do you think it would be more beneficial to your tribe to avoid tribal council all together until the merge? Or is there a benefit to losing a few challenges and really solidifying a core alliance?

That's a good question. Thank you Danni.

We don't know when we're merging so it's hard to plan this out step by step. I think we need to get out Chelsea, but it's gonna take some time to get Angela at a point where's she's willing to cut her, so in an ideal world we win the next challenge, allowing us time to wear down Angela, and then lose the next one and get rid of Chelsea.

Steph has floated the idea of throwing a challenge to get rid of her, well, it was throw a challenge to get rid of Kellyn but now that Kellyn went over to Ahmar, she'd now be willing to throw a challenge to boot Chelsea.

Personally I think it's risky to throw a challenge. We need to figure out if Chelsea is really all that threatening. It seemed like she had something with Kellyn but it couldn't have been all that strong if Kellyn decided to abandon her over here.

I don't like Chelsea but I still think there's a chance we could recruit her so I'm not ready to put the target square on her back.

Tiny Saturday night update. I still hate talking to Chelsea. I'm struggling to force this conversation with her about personal stuff. Probably best if we just stick to game talk.

And whoa. Alec and I live just a few hours away from each other. This is a HUGE boon for me. I need to capitalize on this and build a good relationship with him.

Update on the whole Alec sitch. It's a few hours before the challenge so a few hours before he has to swap with someone else.

I got to talk with him a bit last night. When it comes to messaging, he's a little flakey. One of my messages were sitting there for a while, and when he later responded he said that he had gone on a walk to the convenience store, and that's why he didn't answer me...Buuuut, I know he was displayed as online at the time. I'm not 100% how this all works, but I'm pretty sure that if your phone is asleep, it sets you as "Away"/ the little moon icon.

But I'll ignore that for now. After we got through all of our glorious Canadian stuff, we got down to some game talk. He didn't really ask me about anything over here, so it was nice to just get some info without having to give up much. Here's what I learned: It appears that Kellyn and Alec have some agreement to work together, and they both would like to work with me. Buuut they are also in with Sebastian, Mike, and Gabby. We can't all fucking work together. I don't know what Kellyn thinks is going on with me and my game, but it seems like she likes me at least. Which is kinda funny because she's one of the few people I've been making fun of. I kinda forgot that was all behind her back so I was surprised to see that she wanted to work with me. Lol.

My intial instinct was to run and tell Steph about this, but I stopped myself. I think I'm gonna keep this one to myself. There's a chance that Alec and I can build a genuine connection, and while it's nice to build some options for my alliance, I need to build some options for myself first and foremost.

If we lose this challenge tonight then I'll have more to say later.
