Hey Mike, welcome to the Fenassa tribe! I’m excited to see you all out here in Morocco.

My name is Danni Boatwright, and I'm one of the hosts for this season. From time to time we will be sliding into your confessionals. Our job as hosts is to help answer all of your questions, and drill you ( ) in confessionals to get the strategic gears in your brain turning.

Let’s start by running through the other 6 members of your tribe. Who gave off the best first impression? Who gave off the worst? Are there any players here that you think will be an easy boot when you attend your first tribal? Do you think that three tribes is more difficult to manage than the typical 2? Do you think the smaller starting tribes will be beneficial for your game? Any other thoughts you’d like to share about the other tribes?

I wish I could tell you what I thought of all six of my tribe members, but the truth is I only met three tonight. Three didn't show up. Of those three I got along best with Gabby. She was easy to talk to, fun and active for almost the entire time. Alec is a close second but he seemed less talkative. Natalie is role playing as Natalie which I find weird. I thought you guys picked our characters for us but we still played as ourselves? I went with it at first but eventually it got weird. Not a fan. Davie showed up at the very end of the night, but would've missed the challenge if there were one. Pat and Angelina are yet to be seen. The "easy" vote off is probably any of the no shows. I vote Pat for the irony of him going first in this game and in real life. When there are no shows you don't have much else to go by.

I think the small tribe helped me out personally. I think I can get close to Alec and Gabby, then we only need to pull in one more to have the power in our tribe. Natalie can be the fourth but I'll wait until I meet the others to really pick. I'm curious how the other tribes are doing. It seems like we're behind the curve considering the number of group chats that were made by the other tribes. They've already formed alliances I'm sure.

I hope everything is okay with Jeff and his wife. It probably saved us a loss because we would've been 4v7v7 which seems like rough odds, without even knowing the challenge.

Overall I feel like I'm in a good place. Unless I'm being completely strung along by the three I met today, which would be impressive honestly.

Other fun facts, I learned Alec is a classic rock guy who enjoys the movie O Brother Where Art Thou (we both love Edgar Wright as well), and Gabby is more into current pop like Arianna Grande and Halsey while enjoying comedies like School of Rock and Elf. All in all, good day.
