So it was a slow day yesterday and I wasn't paying too much attention. I didn't feel like writing a confessional when I finally saw this so you're getting it now. Sorry
This Tribe is weird. I feel like I'm in a good place. Sebastian, Alec, Gabby, and possibly Donathan have my back. Natalie wants me gone but she could be convinced to stay fenassa strong. She could also be replaced by Kellyn who I've been pretty good friends with recently. I don't think I would say drivers seat. Again, I've never been to tribal so I don't know what driving a tribe even feels like. Trying to be the driver in a tribe that isn't going to tribal can come across as paranoid and controlling, and that's not what I'm going for. Nat is going for that. Now we want her gone.
Well if she swaps with Nat suddenly there is no fenassa majority in Ahmar and the game shifts a lot. More damning, it means goddamn nat gets to avoid tribal, make more friends, and pick where she wants to go next week. Fuuuuuuck that. I doubt Kellyn would join our tribe without picking a former fenassa, cuz "the numbers". Seb made it sound like there's a chance she goes to the other tribe, which could revive fenassa strong.
I think my closest ally is Gabby we haven't talked as much the last few days, but we almost always have each others back. We share almost all information and although it hasn't been tested, I trust she would back me in a vote. Nat is the only one dropping my name so I want her out the door.
JesusFuckingIdols. I have no clue. I'd take a bet that at least one is floating around our tribe. I'm assuming the first two clues were already swept up before we even got to the tribe because apparently the previous tuaregs just handed the clues out like flyers. I spent hours trying to get the third idol and had no luck. My research took me in two directions. the strait of gibraltar and the sea of galilee. One is based on the Moroccan leader with one eye who the strait of gibraltar is named after. I tried the strait and all of it's alternative names. I couldn't find a name for the strait in berber, but that's the only thing I didn't try that could be it. The other is based on the dajjal, who is the islamic anti-christ. He has one eye and will dry the sea of galilee upon his return to earth. tried all the names for the sea, and even looked up islamic prayers at work because of the asking for help part. Anyways, nothing worked. I'm not even sure if these passwords can have special characters in them, which arabic and berber words are full of. So that means either I'm an idiot, someone got it first, or you guys are fucking evil with these idols. All three seem equally possible at this time. But to play safely I need to assume clue 3 was solved by my tribe. ghandia and clay come from this tribe where everyone had the clues, so their odds of having idols are slightly higher than the average person. I'm cautious around them. I wonder if we could split the votes against them...
Where people started matters. If they say otherwise they're trying to convince me to back them. Sebastian has been pushing it hard, but he is currently in the minority. It's in his interest for me to not play that way. I'd be more down for staying within my tribal lines if there wasn't a fucking ugly snake in our 4. That being said once the merge happens having more allies is always good. Even if I don't vote with the new people in my tribe, getting to know them and giving them info when it suits me is a great way to build the foundation of an alliance later on.
So yeah. here I am just chilling. I think most of my tribe likes me. I'm uncomfortable and I can't tell if that's just because the swap or if I'm in danger.
Wait hold up
I may have convinced Kellyn to swap with Ghandia or Clay. That would be ideal for me. Nat and the other former Ahmar would be on the bottom. I'd have all my friends! lets hope.
