Davie,
Well, you've made it to the final 9. Single digits!!! icon_eek If you feel comfortable, it's probably time to make sure everything is as it seems. We are closer to the end than it may appear. There are only a handful of votes separating you from the cash prize in Morocco. Here's a few imperative questions to get you thinking.

1. Tell us why you didn't go for the idol tonight and explain what was going through your head at the time the twist was announced.
2. Tonight's tribal council seemed to have a lot of uncertainty and tension. Did anybody's behavior before or during the council alarm you? What did you learn and how has it changed your plans immediately and over the long term?
3. There's at least 1 idol currently in play, how much are you worried about someone being able to remain immune for the rest of the game? Do you have any plans to deal with idols in the future?
4. You just put a 4th person on the jury, that's potentially enough votes to win the game. What do you think are your jury votes right now?
5. How much are you weighing the potential of each remaining player as an opponent at FTC versus a potential jurymember? Do you have a strategy for jury management from this point forward?

Looking forward to seeing tons more action from your corner this upcoming week.

1. At the time the twist was announced, my thought was that the only hope for me and my ally Pat to both stay in the game was for all the people possibly involved in our plan to vote out Donathan to keep their votes and go that way. Unbeknownst to me, all of them were too chicken to actually vote that way so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I definitely wish I had gone for it because it would be really useful.
2. Everyone's behavior alarmed me. When I logged in before council, Pat came to me and told me that he'd heard it would be me or him tonight. When I asked Chelsea about it, she pretended she didn't know anything about what was going on, then later said that it was supposed to be me, then later changed again and said it was Pat, literally all in the span of like 5 minutes, so I definitely knew something was up. Nobody else I talked to said that I was in danger, but everyone said that Chelsea was spearheading the vote for Pat. I've always known that Chelsea was a liar, but I didn't realize that her game was this haphazard and all over the place. At this point I know she's out to get me, and I guess everyone else is okay with going along with whatever she wants, so I feel like I'm danger tonight. For now, I'm more focused on surviving tonight and being able to re-coordinate my efforts as opposed to making long-term plans.
3. To me, Sebastian's idol is more of an afterthought. I know it's bad, but I think he's a non-threatening player with a potentially threatening advantage. There are more threatening players in my immediate line of sight, but Sebastian's idol is definitely something that needs to be dealt with soon.
4 and 5. I think it could potentially be an uphill battle for jury votes at this point. I've been playing very UTR, and it's hard to present that sort of game in a way that doesn't make you look delusional or attributing moves to yourself that others think you had no hand in. I'm going to have to start playing a much more aggressive game, and rather than dumbing myself down like I've been doing, really being vocal about what I want. I've been playing hard already but It's time to start playing harder and really break this ideal of "majority rules" that is rotting this tribe. And we all know, a fish rots from the head, so I really want to make a move tonight to target who I believe to be the head of this tribe, Chelsea. If I can't get her, I'll settle for one of her close allies like Donathan, but I'm definitely ready to make something happen.

Let's do a recap. So far this is the breakdown of the final 9 in the game:

Original Ahmar: Clay, Robb
Original Fenassa: Alec, Davie, Gabby
Original Jellal: Angela, Chelsea, Donathan, Sebastian

New Ahmar: Alec, Clay, Donathan, Gabby, Sebastian
New Fenassa: Angela, Chelsea, Davie, Robb

Do any of these formations stick out to you, do you think it could impact the game going forward and does it factor into your plans?

I think at this point old tribal lines have blended. I'm not putting it past anyone here, but it's definitely pretty foolish to work with someone you don't jell with for no reason other than you were on a tribe together. I'd definitely like to get rid of some of the OG Jelllal, mainly Donathan and Chelsea. But that might have to wait for a bit longer, because I'm already hearing that Robb is throwing my name out, and even though we were on a tribe together, I know that I can't trust him any longer. I'm working on a group to vote out Robb. He's very much a flip-flopper and that's not something can be trusted at this stage in the game.
